β€’ Provide guidance to clients on organizing meetings, offsite events, and conferences.

β€’ Comprehend event goals and devise options that align with the occasion, participants, and budget.

β€’ Prepare pricing proposals and clarify the available options.

β€’ Address inquiries, follow up on qualified inbound leads, and convert them into confirmed bookings.

β€’ Identify venues, hotels, and suppliers while comparing their proposals.

β€’ Utilize framework agreements and negotiate rates, terms, and commissions on behalf of clients.

β€’ Confirm services and timelines with suppliers and oversee the delivery process.

β€’ Evaluate cost and schedule implications when changes occur and determine the next steps.

β€’ Monitor expenses against budgets up to the final invoice stage.

β€’ Foster client relationships and discuss planning for future events.

β€’ Utilize feedback from events to enhance planning procedures.

β€’ Provide product-support examples to the product team.

β€’ Take ownership of revenue and meet agreed quarterly objectives.

β€’ Assist in defining how eventfirst supports and advises clients in the UK.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Some experience in sales, particularly in advising clients, clarifying proposals, or following up during the decision-making process.

β€’ Proven experience in event coordination and collaboration with venues or other suppliers.

β€’ Proficient in spoken and written English at a native level.

β€’ Capacity to advise clients, articulate proposals, and negotiate complex terms with confidence.

β€’ Eagerness to learn new software and evaluate whether its outcomes meet client needs.

β€’ Competence in using proposal and event budget figures to guide decision-making.

β€’ Ability to integrate feedback into future client discussions or events.

β€’ Capability to operate under a freelance contract as eventfirst lacks a legal entity in the UK.

β€’ Proficiency in German, experience in purchasing, familiarity with event or CRM software, and sales experience in a hotel, venue, catering, event agency, or in-house events team are advantageous.
