Senior Event Project Manager – Pharmaceutical Events

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Engage fully with one of the company's prominent pharmaceutical clients.

• Oversee the complete delivery process of multiple large-scale, intricate projects from inception to conclusion.

• Act as the senior-level liaison for clients.

• Establish trusted relationships with clients and provide guidance on project strategy, execution, and best practices.

• Facilitate collaboration among internal teams, suppliers, and stakeholders.

• Ensure adherence to client standards, tools, processes, and healthcare regulatory obligations.

• Manage project timelines, budgets, risk assessment, resource planning, and reporting.

• Proactively identify challenges, handle escalations, and maintain oversight during high-pressure situations and last-minute adjustments.

• Support and mentor team members.

• Contribute to knowledge sharing and ongoing improvement throughout the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8–10+ years of experience in event project management within an event agency.

• Extensive background with pharmaceutical and/or healthcare clients.

• Comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulatory requirements and compliance standards both in Germany and globally.

• Proven track record in managing complex international projects, engaging numerous stakeholders, and handling significant event budgets.

• Demonstrated capability to serve as a trusted advisor and influence senior stakeholders on the client side.

• Proficient in attendee management tools, especially Cvent.

• Strong operational project management abilities.

• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken, at a business level.
