Senior ETL Report Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +12 more states.

📋 Description

• Assist in the discovery, development, and publication of Solari data, reports, and dashboards.

• Generate actionable business insights to address business inquiries, influence decisions, and enhance operations.

• Lead the design, architecture, and modeling of data analytics.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and interpret specifications and requirements.

• Mentor junior BI developers.

• Write T-SQL queries and stored procedures.

• Debug and troubleshoot queries, stored procedures, and data integration solutions.

• Develop SSIS packages for ETL processes into the data warehouse.

• Optimize query performance through database refactoring and table normalization.

• Create analytic reports and dashboards from initial conception to final publication.

• Identify suitable data sources, relationships, and logic for dependable reporting.

• Update BI reports and establish new key performance metrics.

• Provide development support for data requests.

• Troubleshoot performance issues at the database-query and report-interface levels.

• Produce end-user documentation for troubleshooting and auditing purposes.

• Participate in the on-call rotation as necessary.

• Co-lead the BI team in recognizing data and reporting requirements.

• Assist in drafting business requirement documents.

• Work on extensive, intricate, cross-functional projects alongside technical staff, end users, and senior management.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in the field.

• Hands-on coding experience in SQL (T-SQL) in a workplace setting.

• Practical experience with BI front-end reporting tools such as Cognos, Power BI, and Tableau.

• Required technical skills: Microsoft SQL Server 2016 or later, Cognos Analytics, Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams), Tableau Desktop/Server, JIRA, Microsoft Visual Studio.

• A Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.

• Preferred certifications include MCSA and MTA.

• Must reside physically in AZ, CO, FL, IL, MA, MN, OH, OK, OR, PA, TX, VA, or WA.

• Must have a stable and secure private home internet connection with a minimum of 50Mbps download, 5Mbps upload, and average jitter less than 20% of latency.
