This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Provide technical leadership and practical expertise for Golden 1's Informatica ETL implementation.
• Assist the ETL Architect with the methodologies, standards, design patterns, and best practices for enterprise data warehouse implementation.
• Lead ETL developers and engage in ETL development activities.
• Install, configure, and manage Informatica PowerCenter and IDQ.
• Analyze, design, develop, test, and configure workflows and mappings.
• Act as an expert and primary technical resource throughout the ETL project lifecycle.
• Support, maintain, and monitor ETL jobs, processes, and the overall health of the enterprise data warehouse platform.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues to ensure uptime and meet service-level requirements.
• Develop high-quality processes utilizing structured development techniques.
• Implement data services and solutions following an agile-based approach.
• Suggest enhancements to data delivery, quality, and processing efficiency.
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to identify errors and validate business specifications.
• Organize and manage code releases using Informatica PowerCenter.
• Create operational support guides and run books.
• Analyze and assess existing or proposed application designs.
• Uphold software development lifecycle guidelines, standards, and architecture artifacts.
• Assist with the processes, policies, standards, and procedures that support corporate and regulatory compliance.
• Train, guide, and evaluate staff while resolving system issues.
• Maintain knowledge of credit union compliance laws and regulations, including bank secrecy and anti-money laundering laws.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• At least five years of experience in designing, developing, and supporting enterprise data warehouse ETL implementations.
• Essential experience with cloud implementations.
• Extensive experience with Kimball-based data warehouse implementations.
• Strong knowledge of dimensional modeling for ETL design and development.
• Experience in designing daily and monthly snapshot facts, accumulating snapshot facts, factless facts, Type 1, 2, and 3 dimensions, hybrid dimensions, 3NF, and other modeling techniques.
• In-depth understanding of enterprise architecture, security, management, and monitoring.
• Strong grasp of data management best practices, including data quality, reference data, metadata, and data lineage.
• Proficient SQL skills.
• Experience with data integration.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
• Comprehensive understanding of state and federal credit union compliance laws and regulations, including bank secrecy and anti-money laundering laws.
• Availability for emergency and on-call duty 24/7 as required.
• Occasional travel may be necessary.
• Ability to lift and carry communication equipment and computer hardware weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Manual dexterity to operate computer hardware, hand tools, and office equipment.
• A valid California Driver's License is required.
• Prolonged sitting, corrected vision within the normal range, and hearing within normal limits are necessary.
• Availability for emergency and on-call duty 24/7 as needed.
• Occasional travel may be required.
• A device to enhance hearing will be provided if necessary.
