Senior Estimator – Data Center Construction, Civil, Structural, Landscaping, Architectural

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and create estimates throughout the lifecycle of large-scale, mission-critical data center construction projects and programs.

• Formulate cost plans and estimates from initial concept through detailed design across various geographic locations.

• Present and deliver updated cost plans at relevant design milestones.

• Provide program-level estimates for designated scopes of work.

• Coordinate, manage, and supervise support personnel.

• Evaluate proposed design modifications and new technologies, preparing estimates that meet the required accuracy levels.

• Gather, analyze, and summarize cost data from completed projects to inform cost model trends.

• Analyze the cost-effectiveness of alternative products and value engineering concepts at the program level.

• Assist in training Development and external Estimating teams on new project estimating tools and templates.

• Aid in the preparation of leadership presentations for the client’s Preconstruction and Estimating teams.

• Provide Life Cycle Costing models.

• Comply with applicable SOX control responsibilities.

• Collaborate with clients, design teams, contractors, and internal project stakeholders across various geographic regions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related construction field.

• At least 5–7 years of pertinent experience.

• Background in a construction cost management role such as Cost Manager, Quantity Surveyor, Estimator, Cost Engineer, Project Engineer, or Project Cost Controls.

• Experience in providing conceptual estimating services and/or pre-construction services at a construction management or similar firm.

• Experience supporting large-scale construction projects and programs.

• Strong understanding of construction industry technical aspects, including value management and value engineering.

• Exceptional communication skills.
