This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Plan, oversee, implement, and deliver Payroll Parallel Run (PPR) initiatives within the Synergy Programme.
• Take ownership of the Parallel Run strategy, delivery plans, milestones, entry and exit criteria, reconciliation framework, and readiness measures.
• Ensure alignment of Parallel Run activities with payroll calendars, programme milestones, and service transfer requirements.
• Serve as Capita’s senior stakeholder and assurance lead during Payroll Comparison Testing conducted by the System Integrator.
• Review, validate, and scrutinize the outcomes of Payroll Comparison Testing.
• Act as Capita’s payroll subject matter expert throughout the Parallel Run and service transition phases.
• Evaluate operational readiness for Day One service delivery and continuous payroll operations.
• Implement Synergy governance standards, including RAID management, tolerances, controls, and quality gates.
• Manage risks, issues, actions, dependencies, and the parallel running process.
• Cultivate relationships across Capita operational teams, Oracle/System Integrator delivery teams, Authority stakeholders, incumbent payroll providers, and third-party suppliers.
• Facilitate structured governance, readiness, and reconciliation forums.
• Provide support for executive-level governance and decision-making regarding go/no-go assessments.
• Extensive experience leading Payroll Parallel Run activities within large-scale HR and Payroll transformation programmes.
• Demonstrated experience in supporting Oracle Fusion Payroll implementations, migration activities, or payroll service transitions is highly desirable.
• Comprehensive understanding of payroll operations, controls, statutory requirements, and payroll processing cycles.
• Proven track record of collaborating with System Integrators and technology delivery partners.
• Strong experience in reviewing, interpreting, and challenging payroll testing results and readiness assessments.
• Experience leading intricate reconciliation and defect resolution efforts.
• Established capability to operate effectively within multi-supplier delivery environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing abilities.
• Strong analytical skills with the capacity to interpret payroll data and identify operational risks.
• Experience in supporting executive-level governance and decision-making regarding go/no-go assessments.
• Security Clearance (Level 2) is required and must remain valid for the entire duration of the role.
