This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Repair and maintain equipment in practitioners' offices, prioritizing customer satisfaction.
• Deliver courteous and professional repair services, including the escalation of complex and challenging issues.
• Provide installation services as necessary.
• Keep essential tools for installation and repair services in good condition.
• Lead team members while overseeing on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and testing tasks.
• Diagnose technical problems, troubleshoot errors, and identify effective solutions.
• Understand customer needs and offer recommendations to enhance their experience.
• Assist junior technicians with assignments as required.
• Manage inventory levels within the service van.
• Generate timely and comprehensive service reports.
• Participate in mandatory career development and technical training provided by manufacturers.
• Adhere to OSHA regulations and utilize personal protective equipment as necessary.
• Communicate progress of assignments to team members and HUB dispatchers.
• Complete, review, and finalize work orders daily for billing purposes.
• Submit FDA forms, expense reports, and any other necessary documentation.
• Follow Fleet Management Policy, including maintenance and accident management protocols.
• Engage in special projects and undertake other assigned duties.
• Must possess 3 or more Level 1 Certifications as determined by the ROM/ZOM based on business needs.
• Must be cross-certified in areas such as digital x-ray/software, digital CAD/CAM, etc.
• Proven ability to present preventative maintenance options to customers.
• Demonstrated capability to accurately manage work orders, FSRs, Concur, eTime, RMA’s, and 2579 reporting in a timely manner.
• Ability to serve as a liaison between Henry Schein, customers, contractors, and EPM.
• Must exhibit capabilities as a lead technician.
• Must be able to work effectively independently.
• Exceptional troubleshooting skills.
• Proven experience handling confidential information.
• Must possess the ability to mentor other technicians.
• Strong oral communication and presentation skills.
• Advanced proficiency in computer skills.
• Typically requires 7 or more years of experience in the dental industry with demonstrated proficiency.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Experience in service and installation.
• Must have achieved and demonstrated expertise in an area equivalent to CIT certification.
• Typically requires a high school education, vocational training, and/or on-the-job training.
• An Associate's degree or Technical School Certification is preferred.
• Ability to maneuver large equipment and perform substantial and/or repetitive tasks such as bending, stopping, lifting, and climbing ladders.
