This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.
β’ Assume full responsibility for the delivery of projects, ensuring that contractual, technical, financial, scheduling, quality, and customer specifications are met.
β’ Lead and orchestrate multidisciplinary teams across engineering, procurement, supply, construction, installation, testing, and commissioning efforts.
β’ Establish strong connections with both internal and external stakeholders while managing project priorities, interfaces, and contractual commitments.
β’ Monitor, enhance, and report on essential operational and financial indicators of the project.
β’ Guide the management of project risks and opportunities throughout the entire project lifecycle.
β’ Maintain oversight of the project's financial performance, including costs, forecasts, cash flow, resource utilization, and overall financial health.
β’ Manage the project scope and the interactions between functions, suppliers, contractors, and delivery partners.
β’ Drive schedule adherence and oversee project activities and deliverables.
β’ Identify deviations in schedule, cost, and delivery, leading recovery and mitigation strategies.
β’ Support the management of contractual changes, claims, settlements, and the resolution of commercial issues.
β’ Oversee contractual obligations and assist in root-cause analysis and continuous improvement efforts.
β’ Foster and reinforce a culture of EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) throughout project activities.
β’ Represent GE Vernova in matters related to EHS, contracts, customer relations, or other project-related concerns.
β’ Assist in tender validation by assessing delivery models, commitments, execution assumptions, risks, and opportunities.
β’ Provide leadership within large and complex project organizations, driving accountability.
β’ An engineering degree or equivalent relevant technical qualification or experience.
β’ Extensive experience in managing large and complex EPC, turnkey, or infrastructure projects within the energy sector, power transmission, or a similar engineering context.
β’ Proven experience overseeing projects through various phases of the EPC lifecycle, including engineering, procurement/supply, construction, installation, and commissioning.
β’ A track record of leading high-value projects characterized by significant technical, commercial, contractual, and organizational complexity.
β’ Strong comprehension of project financial management, encompassing cost control, forecasting, risk and opportunity management, and overall financial performance.
β’ Experience in managing contractual interfaces, project modifications, claims, and commercial risks.
β’ Demonstrated ability to lead and influence large, multidisciplinary, and cross-functional project teams.
β’ Experience working in international and/or multi-stakeholder project environments.
β’ Excellent customer and stakeholder management skills.
β’ Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
β’ Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
β’ Familiarity with high-voltage transmission, AC substations, FACTS, grid infrastructure, or related power-sector projects.
β’ Experience delivering projects with substantial construction, installation, and commissioning scopes.
β’ Experience managing complex interfaces with suppliers, subcontractors, or consortiums.
β’ Strong commercial acumen and understanding of turnkey project execution models.
β’ Ability to function effectively within a matrix organization and influence stakeholders across various functions and levels.
β’ Experience in international project environments and managing significant local project content.
