This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.

📋 Description

• Oversee the creation of environmental assessment reports, such as Environmental Reports and Environmental Impact Statements, to support nuclear initiatives.

• Develop, manage, and oversee staff and projects directly related to the position.

• Execute and manage projects within defined scope, schedule, and budget utilizing AECOM project management systems and tools.

• Complete AECOM’s internal Project Management certification program within the first two years of employment.

• Coordinate, manage, and lead project fieldwork and data collection activities.

• Formulate and present business strategies, proposals, interdisciplinary teams, documentation, and report deliverables.

• Engage with clients and regulatory representatives on complex projects and business development efforts.

• Uphold high standards of work quality and Health & Safety within the team.

• Provide technical assistance to the EPP Department and Project Managers.

• Aid in interdisciplinary business development initiatives.

• Collaborate with various AECOM offices, practices, and business units.

• Mentor junior and mid-level staff members.

• Conduct client visits and fieldwork that may require overnight travel and work outside of the office.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Biology, Ecology, Natural Resources, or a related earth science discipline.

• A minimum of 10 years of experience or equivalent education and experience in preparing environmental assessment reports in compliance with NEPA.

• At least 2 years of leadership experience.

• 5 years of experience in the nuclear utility sector, nuclear fuel cycle facilities, or as a contractor supporting licensing actions.

• A valid Driver’s License and the ability to pass AECOM’s Motor Vehicle Records assessment.

• U.S. Citizenship is required.

• Must be willing to travel.

• A Master’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.

• Preferred experience of 10+ years in nuclear industry licensing actions.

• Experience in leading teams conducting environmental studies, permitting support, and related assessments is preferred.

• Familiarity with regulator and stakeholder engagement is preferred.

• Experience in team management and resource scheduling is preferred.

• PMP or other project management certifications are preferred.

• Active involvement in relevant industry organizations is preferred.

• Sponsorship is not available.
