Senior Enterprise Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and build tools and techniques for data collection in collaboration with technical teams.

• Develop data pipelines utilizing Python, SQL, and/or Azure Data Factory.

• Analyze data patterns through advanced algorithms to uncover actionable insights.

• Create graphs, charts, and visualizations to effectively communicate technical findings.

• Present analytical results to managers and stakeholders to inform adjustments to business models and future planning.

• Gather, clean, and verify large datasets from various Department of Veterans Affairs sources.

• Convert raw data into insightful reports that support healthcare transformation objectives.

• Work with cross-functional teams to align data strategies with program goals.

• Assist in predictive modeling and trend analysis to enhance veteran healthcare delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related technical field.

• Over 8 years of experience in systems engineering, enterprise analytics environments, platform modernization, or technical analytical studies within large-scale enterprise or Federal environments.

• Proficiency with Azure Government, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory (ADF), or similar enterprise cloud analytics platforms.

• Experience in analyzing business and technical processes and translating requirements into enterprise technology or ERP solutions.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms, enterprise infrastructure, systems integration, or analytics environments.

• Capability to troubleshoot, triage, and resolve complex technical issues across interconnected systems and organizational infrastructure.

• Experience providing technical leadership, guidance, or oversight to engineering and technical teams.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and technical documentation skills.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

• Must be able to obtain and maintain the required federal public trust clearance.

• Preferred: experience supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs, federal agencies, or large public-sector organizations.

• Preferred: experience with ERP platforms and ERP modernization or implementation initiatives.

• Preferred: experience in designing, integrating, and optimizing cloud-based or hybrid enterprise environments.

• Preferred: experience with VA enterprise analytics environments, Summit Data Platform, or Federal healthcare data ecosystems.

• Preferred: knowledge of federal IT standards, cybersecurity requirements, cloud governance, and VA technology policies.

• Preferred: experience working in Agile, DevSecOps, or other modern software and systems engineering environments.

• Preferred: relevant industry certifications such as Azure, AWS, GCP, ITIL, or other systems engineering and cloud certifications.
