Senior Enterprise Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Design, execute, oversee, and improve top-tier security tools and controls

• Assess technology solutions against security best practices, Baptist Health standards, and relevant frameworks

• Offer support for applications and interfaces

• Diagnose issues and collaborate with technical resources for resolution

• Address incidents of system and network security breaches

• Manage and coordinate the remediation of network and system vulnerabilities

• Implement security controls and measures to safeguard organizational data and infrastructure

• Create and execute operational workflows and processes

• Analyze and suggest proactive solutions for future technological and business requirements

• Report and liaise with client departments, technical resources, and vendors

• Engage in rotational 24x7 on-call responsibilities as needed

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree

• Over 5 years of experience in implementing and supporting security tools, policies, and procedures for enterprise-level computing and network environments

• Extensive knowledge of IoT/IoMT security concepts, data loss prevention, O365 security, SIEM, physical security and privacy controls, and risk management

• Proficiency in Linux, Mac, and Microsoft OS, mobile device and app management controls, endpoint protection, network topologies and controls, scripting, authentication protocols, database systems, application security, vulnerability remediation, and data loss prevention

• Experience in supporting enterprise-level applications and advising individuals with diverse technical, business, and operational backgrounds

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

• Quick learner of new concepts and technologies

• Strong technical skills, analytical abilities, and troubleshooting expertise

• Preferred certifications: SSCP, HCISPP, or CISSP
