Senior Enterprise Security Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Korea.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the technical sales process, encompassing discovery, solution design, and product demonstrations.

• Convert intricate technical concepts into compelling use cases for both technical engineers and C-level executives.

• Act as the API security subject matter expert for clients, internal teams, and partners.

• Inform sales teams and stakeholders about API security trends, threats, and best practices.

• Serve as the primary technical contact for customers, ensuring their success and satisfaction.

• Collect customer requirements and collaborate with product and engineering teams to align solutions accordingly.

• Showcase Akamai's API security vision and best practices at conferences, webinars, and customer workshops.

• Collaborate with sales, product management, and engineering teams to enhance the customer experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong understanding of APIs, API gateways, web application firewalls (WAF), and API security methodologies.

• 8 years of experience in a technical pre-sales, solution architecture, or a similar role within cybersecurity or API-related domains.

• Proficient in TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS, and RESTful APIs.

• Practical experience with Python, JavaScript, or Bash programming languages.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, and cloud-native architectures.

• Experience in deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications.

• Proficient in both spoken and written English and Korean.

• Strong presentation abilities for both technical and non-technical audiences.
