This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and create interconnected systems that facilitate business operations utilizing third-party tools, MCP servers, internal APIs, lightweight web applications, and automated workflows.

• Establish and sustain MCP servers that provide data platform functionalities and enterprise business systems to internal applications and AI workflows.

• Develop internal APIs to enhance programmatically accessible resources.

• Create lightweight Streamlit web applications and dashboards that support internal workflows.

• Implement stateful applications to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) in accordance with policy.

• Create and oversee automated workflows and Python pipelines.

• Manage a software development lifecycle (SDLC) that transforms high-value macros and user-generated tools into independent services and low-code workflows.

• Establish coding standards and best practices for engaging with AI agents throughout Branch.

• Collaborate with stakeholders across Branch to define and deliver effective solutions.

• Produce clean, well-documented code and contribute to the technical quality of the team.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Python engineering.

• At least 3 years of experience in designing and developing APIs; experience with FastAPI or Flask is preferred.

• Over 3 years of experience in full-stack Python development.

• Experience in building or working with MCP servers.

• Familiarity with deterministic LLM programming, including LangChain, UserPromptSubmit, and PostToolUse.

• Understanding of OLTP databases and caching technologies.

• Strong expertise in SQL and relational databases.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work across different functions.

• Proven capability to manage the entire lifecycle of a project.

• Background in fintech, payments, or financial services is a plus.

• Experience with Streamlit or similar lightweight UI frameworks is advantageous.

• Familiarity with workflow automation tools such as Airflow, Prefect, or n8n is a plus.

• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, or Azure is beneficial.

• Must currently be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship or transfer.
