This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Create and implement a territory plan targeting specific agencies and relevant use cases to establish a sales pipeline and meet quarterly and annual sales goals.
• Acquire in-depth knowledge of Neo4j solutions and their relevance within the target market.
• Demonstrate the benefits and superiority of graph technology compared to other database solutions to clients.
• Manage enterprise sales processes utilizing Strategic Selling methodologies and techniques.
• Develop and present proposals that incorporate Neo4j products and services.
• Collaborate with solution resources to outline and deliver well-qualified proofs of concept.
• Expand business within existing accounts through a "Land & Expand" strategy.
• Mentor and assist the assigned Sales Development Representative (SDR) in pipeline growth.
• Advise Field Marketing teams on targeted programs for priority accounts.
• Support the Channel Director in identifying partners and programs for targeted accounts.
• Keep precise pipeline records in Neo4j’s Salesforce.com CRM in line with forecasting protocols.
• Work alongside solution engineering, marketing, and professional services to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term success.
• Proven track record in selling information management tools to enterprise clients.
• 7–10 years of demonstrated success in achieving or surpassing sales targets for technical solutions and software products within the enterprise sector.
• Significant experience in executing intricate enterprise sales strategies and techniques.
• Familiarity with the commercial open-source business model, including subscription sales for on-premise and/or hybrid on-premise/cloud implementations.
• Background in a smaller, rapidly growing software company utilizing SDR, Field Marketing, and pre-sales engineering resources.
• Strong grasp of how graph solutions integrate into the enterprise marketplace.
• Capability to work remotely in a home-office setting and travel to client locations for meetings.
• Excellent references, preferably from former sales managers and/or clients.
• Meticulous attention to detail and proficient lead-data management in Salesforce.com.
• Competence with standard corporate productivity tools, such as Google Docs, MS Office, Salesforce.com, and web conferencing platforms.
• Relevant coursework in database management, SQL, computer programming, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields is a plus.
• Proficiency in both German and English is essential.
