📋 Description

• Lead a remote-first, cross-functional team of Software Development Engineers in Test responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of Cribl products.

• Own the quality strategy for all Cribl products and communicate metrics to enable data-driven prioritization of the roadmap.

• Drive continuous improvement in test automation, CI stability, defect prevention, root-cause analysis, and reduction of escape rates.

• Optimize end-to-end quality pipelines and velocity, removing bottlenecks for teams and agentic workflows.

• Conduct failure analysis to bridge the testing gap with customer deployments.

• Collaborate with product management and engineering managers to implement quality standards from the outset.

• Coach, mentor, and develop a remote-first team of test engineers focused on agentic workflows.

• Perform stand-by, on-call, or off-hours duties as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Hands-on experience in establishing testing strategies and defining quality metrics for products deployed in SaaS and customer-managed environments.

• Comprehensive understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and necessary changes for agentic development.

• Strong knowledge of test architecture, automation, CI/CD, observability, release management, and root-cause analysis.

• Experience with AI-generated tests and workflows.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

• Over 10 years of industry experience.

• At least 4 years in a technical leadership position.
