This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Supervise the Project Engineering Group
• Identify which requests transition into active projects
• Allocate projects and oversee Engineers' workloads
• Support Engineers with challenges and offer guidance
• Collaborate with Plant Managers and other Directors to ensure requirements are fulfilled
• Serve as the technical partner to the Commercial Lead or Manufacturing Plant
• Manage project costs, scope, timelines, and specifications
• Create, implement, and uphold project plans within the authorized time, budget, and scope
• Make strategic and activity-definition adjustments to attain project outcomes
• Ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget through effective risk management
• Report deviations in time, cost, and deliverables to senior management
• Comply with Amcor, industry, and regulatory standards
• Conclude projects and perform post-project evaluations
• Oversee large, intricate, and long-term projects
• Coordinate project tasks from conception, quoting, sourcing, justification, capital requests, management, and verification
• Advocate for safety, security, quality assurance, and ongoing improvement
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or comparable work experience
• Proven experience managing large multi-million-dollar projects
• Experience in researching new technologies, assessing, and making recommendations
• Excellent time management and communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Strong project management and organizational capabilities with a demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Established leadership skills
• Assertive, innovative, and driven by data
• Proficiency in software such as Solidworks, AutoCAD, MS Project, and Office
• Willingness to travel 50% of the time (including some international travel)
• Preferred: Familiarity with various machines within the group
• Preferred: Experience with industry standards and project management practices
• Preferred: Background in Cast and Blown Film
