Senior Engineering Manager – Mobile

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +4 more locations.

📋 Description

• Oversee a skilled engineering team of 13, which includes Android and iOS engineers, along with one backend engineer.

• Guide, retain, and provide constructive feedback to high-performing engineers across all experience levels.

• Foster a culture characterized by innovation, collaboration, and thoughtful risk-taking.

• Collaborate with engineering leaders, designers, product leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders.

• Advocate for ideas across teams, influence product roadmaps, and establish structured methods that enhance mobile capabilities without adding unnecessary complexity.

• Bridge mobile development with the larger engineering organization by articulating mobile constraints and opportunities to backend, web, and infrastructure teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• More than 5 years of experience in engineering management, specifically leading mobile and/or web engineering teams.

• Profound knowledge of both iOS and Android development.

• Proficiency in Kotlin for Android and Swift/RxSwift for iOS.

• Proven track record in building and delivering new products.

• Capability to develop engineers, establish clear progression paths, and cultivate teams that operate independently while aligning with overarching company objectives.
