This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead a Managed Services Engineering Team to meet financial, operational, customer satisfaction, and coworker objectives.
• Deliver one or more managed services while acting as the product owner for those offerings.
• Align engineering teams with the broader Services strategy.
• Establish and nurture relationships with product development, professional services, sales, customers, and strategic technology partners.
• Execute customer service level agreements utilizing operational frameworks and standard operating procedures.
• Drive continuous service enhancement through process and staff management, performance oversight, and key metrics.
• Allocate engineering resources to sustain, support, and optimize assigned technologies.
• Engage with customers through sales opportunities, quarterly reviews, and support issues.
• Monitor, track, and report on customer satisfaction performance measures and survey results.
• Manage workload, prioritize tasks, assign resources, and review Service Desk queues and reports.
• Coordinate strategic and tactical plans for the current and future development of assigned technologies.
• Oversee time reporting and related analysis.
• Recruit staff, build effective teams, delegate responsibilities, and provide feedback, coaching, mentoring, and development planning.
• Maintain the on-call schedule.
• Collaborate with peers to achieve company, department, and personal goals.
• Oversee problem, change, and work order processes.
• Implement and enforce operational frameworks and standard operating procedures through quality assurance.
• Review processes and organizational structures to pinpoint gaps.
• Manage operational costs, planning, and budgets.
• Advocate for CDW’s vision of becoming an AI-fluent organization and guide responsible AI adoption.
• Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of relevant experience OR 9 years of related consulting or IT services delivery experience.
• Prior consulting leadership experience is essential.
• Proficient in process management and improvement.
• Familiarity with ITIL.
• Experience managing AIX, Linux, and Unix environments, including enterprise operating systems, virtualization, clustering, storage integration, and associated tools.
• Understanding of AIX, Linux, and Unix capacity planning, performance tuning, patching, high availability, and workload automation.
• Ability to lead teams and achieve consensus.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to adapt styles to suit different audiences.
• Capacity to balance multiple priorities and adapt to shifting business needs while meeting deadlines.
• Proven ability to collaborate, build relationships, take initiative, and solve problems creatively.
• Aptitude for identifying and creatively resolving client, project, and personnel issues.
• Established negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of IBM, Cisco, Microsoft, HP, or Dell products and services.
• Experience working with vendors and business partners.
• Capability to lead and manage for the achievement of critical results.
• Proficient in computing, analyzing, and interpreting complex statistical data for reporting or forecasting.
• Ability to act as a trusted advisor in a strategic partnership.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% as needed to other CDW locations, meetings, or client sites.
• Strong multitasking, organizational, and prioritization skills.
• Experience managing IBM AIX, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, SUSE Linux Enterprise Server, Ubuntu, Solaris, and HP-UX is advantageous.
• Annual bonus target of 20% subject to the terms and conditions of the plan.
