Senior Engineering Manager, Infrastructure Security Engineering – DGX Cloud

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and nurture a distributed team of senior security and infrastructure engineers.

• Take charge of recruitment, employee development, and performance evaluation.

• Define the technical strategy and roadmap for the security control plane and core security services.

• Steer the transition towards autonomous security operations.

• Facilitate lightweight planning and reflection cycles aimed at measurable results.

• Assemble teams of appropriate size with clearly defined accountable leaders.

• Uphold high engineering standards regarding tested code, observability, operational readiness, and documentation.

• Convert complex security risks into actionable insights for executives.

• Transform risk assessments into measurable themes and clarify trade-offs.

• Foster collaborations across the DGX Cloud platform, SRE, networking, and NVIDIA security teams.

• Achieve results through influence in vertically organized teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Generally 7+ years of experience managing engineering teams.

• Typically 14+ years in software engineering, SRE, infrastructure, or security roles.

• In-depth technical knowledge in infrastructure, distributed systems, or security engineering.

• Proven experience in attracting, hiring, and developing engineering talent.

• Familiarity with creating consistent and equitable interview and calibration practices.

• Capability to deliver measurable outcomes in ambiguous situations.

• Working knowledge of cloud-native architecture.

• Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.

• Understanding of identity and access management, policy enforcement, and vulnerability management.

• Proven ability to deliver results through partner teams without direct authority.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.

• Strong expertise in fields such as infrastructure, security engineering, SRE, software engineering, or distributed systems.
