This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Develop and implement a software engineering strategy that is in line with business objectives.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and promote innovation.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, QA, UX, business, and technology teams.
• Oversee the complete engineering delivery process.
• Ensure that the software architecture is scalable, maintainable, and adheres to industry best practices.
• Lead architecture evaluations and participate in design decisions.
• Implement and enhance Agile and DevOps engineering methodologies.
• Enhance team productivity and product quality.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the engineering organization.
• Drive recruitment and retention initiatives for the software engineering team.
• Guarantee that projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.
• Mentor and develop high-performing engineering teams.
• A minimum of 10 years of software development experience.
• At least 8 years in a leadership position managing engineering teams.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to analyze system architecture, design, performance metrics, code, test plans, project plans, deployments, and operations.
• Exceptional leadership and team-building capabilities.
• Proven track record of innovation and measurable business transformation results.
• Experience in delivering and supporting large-scale enterprise products and services.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience leading multiple geographically distributed teams.
• Proficiency in C# (.NET Core, .NET Framework), TypeScript, React, and/or Node.js.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Demonstrated success in scaling teams and implementing software development best practices.
• Knowledge of security, privacy, AI, and compliance standards in software development.
• Experience in highly regulated industries such as Financial Services or Healthcare.
