Software Engineering Manager, Java, Angular

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and sustain scalable software solutions for a Data Management Platform.

• Engage in both backend and frontend development activities.

• Collaborate with team members and client stakeholders to establish technical solutions that align with business needs.

• Produce clean, maintainable, and thoroughly tested code adhering to best engineering practices.

• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and initiatives for continuous improvement.

• Assist in CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment processes.

• Ensure quality through automated testing with a strong emphasis on reliability and performance.

• Work closely with a cross-functional team as well as engineering and product stakeholders on a client project.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in developing frontend applications using Angular.

• Familiarity with Java and Spring Boot.

• Extensive experience with SQL Server and relational database design.

• Experience utilizing infrastructure as code tools, ideally Pulumi.

• Practical knowledge of Azure Pipelines for CI/CD.

• Proficient in automated testing frameworks, particularly Cypress.

• Understanding of cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate within cross-functional and client-facing teams.

• Proactive approach and a strong sense of ownership.

• Ability to work independently while ensuring alignment with team and project objectives.

• Strong problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.

• Comfortable working in an agile, fast-paced setting.

• Availability for on-shore work.

• Experience with data-intensive platforms or data management solutions.

• Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and DevOps practices.

• Background in distributed or client-facing teams.
