Senior Engineering Manager – GTM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +4 more locations.

📋 Description

• Define the technical strategy for Mercury's go-to-market (GTM) engine.

• Determine which capabilities to develop and how they integrate with existing marketing, sales, and data systems.

• Create orchestrations that transform product launches and ongoing GTM strategies into synchronized workflows across various channels.

• Enhance the technology supporting inbound and outbound sales activities, including prospect identification, enrichment, qualification, and routing.

• Establish reliable workflows and measurement systems to detect failures, test methodologies, and assess acquisition and expansion efforts.

• Leverage AI to optimize GTM workflows and software development processes.

• Direct AI capabilities from initial prototyping to reliable implementation through evaluation, testing, and human oversight.

• Lead and develop a new engineering team, starting with 2–3 engineers.

• Collaborate closely with Product, Data, Marketing, and Revenue teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in GTM engineering (including marketing technology) or growth engineering.

• Proven engineering management experience, supported by recent hands-on engineering involvement.

• Practical experience in utilizing AI to develop software or enhance workflows, with the discernment to evaluate outcomes and ensure reliability.

• Experience in delivering AI-driven GTM workflows is highly desirable.
