Engineering Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Lead and guide engineering teams, collaborating closely with technical leads and senior engineers.

• Drive the engineering vision, focusing on architecture, scalability, reliability, and timely delivery.

• Collaborate with Product and business units to establish priorities, develop roadmaps, and assess trade-offs.

• Enhance engineering processes, ensuring high standards of quality, security, and operational excellence.

• Oversee cloud infrastructure, optimize platform performance, and manage cost efficiency.

• Explore opportunities to integrate AI and automation into engineering workflows.

• Foster a robust culture of ownership, teamwork, and ongoing improvement.

• Engage closely with senior stakeholders across Product, Business, Data, and Technology to align business priorities with effective engineering outcomes.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8-12 years of comprehensive engineering experience.

• Proven experience in managing and developing engineering teams.

• Practical knowledge of system design, cloud-native architecture, APIs, databases, and distributed systems.

• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication abilities.

• Experience in dynamic startups, scale-ups, or product-led organizations.

• Capability to align technical excellence with business needs and project delivery.

• Previous experience in fintech, financial services, payments, trading, lending, insurance, or other regulated sectors is highly advantageous.
