Senior Engineering Manager, Agents Platform

📋 Description

• Oversee the execution of intricate engineering projects aimed at user acquisition, activation, and revenue enhancement.

• Decompose initiatives into manageable phases with predictable timelines.

• Balance the trade-offs between speed, experimentation, and long-term scalability.

• Collaborate with product and data teams to prioritize impactful projects and optimize business results.

• Identify and address skill gaps within the team related to experimentation, performance, and conversion optimization.

• Work alongside recruitment to attract and retain exceptional talent.

• Assess team performance and promote continuous improvement.

• Assist engineers in achieving measurable outcomes and advancing their careers.

• Manage challenging discussions while prioritizing business needs alongside technical quality.

• Cultivate a collaborative and high-velocity team culture.

• Lead the Agents Platform team in developing a reliable, low-latency platform that ensures consistent uptime and supports a variety of models and voice types.

• Collaborate with R&D to bring their work into production and with Product to meet immediate demands.

• Engage in a five-call interview process focusing on people management, technical leadership, program management, cross-functional strategy, and overall leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience leading multiple engineering teams in delivering high-impact, user-facing projects, preferably with 4+ years of experience.

• Proficient in operating within fast-paced, experiment-driven settings that have clear business metrics.

• Experience in scaling teams and aligning them with product and revenue objectives.

• Capability to monitor performance and assist team members in enhancing their output and impact.

• Exceptional communication skills in cross-functional settings involving product, data, and design teams.

• Relevant engineering experience in developing scalable SaaS products.

• Familiarity with growth, experimentation, or conversion optimization is highly advantageous.

• Legal authorization to work in the country of employment without requiring visa sponsorship.

• Ability to maintain the right to work without ongoing employer support.

• Full-time employment only; contractor positions are not available.
