Senior Engineer – Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Become a member of Hudl’s Platform Engineering team, focusing on site reliability, cloud infrastructure, observability, and production operations.

• Foster operational consistency throughout the platform.

• Assist in ensuring that engineers can develop on a platform that is highly available, scalable, and secure.

• Collaborate with engineers to create robust, scalable platforms.

• Make significant contributions to system architecture and design.

• Provide mentorship and guidance to engineers navigating complex system designs.

• Plan, design, and execute infrastructure projects.

• Leverage AI tools and contemporary technology to enhance engineering workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in leading or playing a pivotal role in architecting and delivering large-scale platforms or applications.

• Strong expertise in platform engineering.

• Proficient in designing complex systems utilizing AWS primitives.

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or OpenTofu.

• Experience with Kubernetes.

• Comfortable integrating AI to optimize workflows.

• Previous experience in site reliability and operational excellence is highly preferred.
