M365 / Power Platform Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +22 more states.

📋 Description

• Design, create, test, implement, and maintain applications on the Microsoft Power Platform.

• Develop Power Apps Canvas and Model-Driven applications along with Power Automate workflows.

• Configure data solutions utilizing Dataverse, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Lists, and other sanctioned data sources.

• Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365 services and other approved external systems.

• Troubleshoot issues related to applications, workflows, permissions, integrations, and performance.

• Create reusable components, templates, and design patterns.

• Develop solutions that integrate SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Outlook, and various Microsoft 365 services.

• Ensure that solutions comply with tenant governance, security, and platform standards.

• Design user interfaces while applying UI/UX principles effectively.

• Create wireframes, mockups, or lightweight prototypes as needed.

• Integrate feedback from customers and end-users into ongoing enhancements.

• Participate in discovery sessions, requirements workshops, design reviews, and technical discussions.

• Convert business processes and requirements into technical solutions.

• Develop prototypes and proofs of concept for validation.

• Identify dependencies, constraints, risks, and alternatives, and communicate these to project leadership.

• Provide development estimates and articulate the impacts of changing requirements or scope.

• Demonstrate completed functionalities to stakeholders.

• Adhere to Power Platform ALM practices while supporting development, testing, acceptance, and production environments.

• Utilize solution components, environment variables, connection references, source control, and deployment pipelines effectively.

• Support CI/CD processes using GitHub Enterprise, Azure DevOps, and Power Platform pipelines.

• Aid in production deployments, defect resolution, maintenance, and upgrades.

• Maintain thorough technical, configuration, and deployment documentation.

• Engage in Agile ceremonies and fulfill development activities within established schedules and sprint commitments.

• Track tasks, estimates, status, and technical notes using Jira or similar tools.

• Collaborate with project managers, technical leads, business analysts, testers, administrators, and developers.

• Communicate any blockers, risks, dependencies, and impacts on schedules.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in developing business applications, workflow automation, or enterprise technology solutions.

• Demonstrated experience in creating solutions with Microsoft Power Platform.

• Proficiency in developing Power Apps Canvas applications and Power Automate workflows.

• Familiarity with Dataverse, SharePoint Online, and/or Microsoft Lists.

• Understanding of Microsoft 365 services including SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and Outlook.

• Proven ability to design intuitive, professional, and user-friendly application interfaces.

• Solid understanding of UI/UX fundamentals, such as layout, navigation, forms, usability, responsiveness, and accessibility.

• Experience in converting business requirements into functional technical solutions.

• Knowledge of application design, data modeling, permissions, integrations, testing, and deployment concepts.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration abilities.
