Platform Operations Engineer, E-Health

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Provision, configure, secure, and manage Kubernetes infrastructures within on-premises settings or dedicated cloud environments for customers.

• Oversee storage, networking, and monitoring components.

• Install, deploy, and consistently update products and services on Kubernetes platforms.

• Ensure the dependable operation of products and services.

• Assist the support team with complex technical challenges.

• Analyze incidents that impact platform and product operations.

• Implement sustainable, long-term solutions to address issues.

• Adhere to ISMS processes, such as compliance with ISO 27001/C5.

• Contribute to the verifiability of operational security.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of pertinent professional experience.

• Ideally, a degree in computer science, medical informatics, or an equivalent qualification.

• Comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience in designing, operating, and maintaining Kubernetes environments, including storage layers like Rook-Ceph.

• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, Helm, Git, and S3.

• Experience with database systems, particularly PostgreSQL.

• Proficient in monitoring systems, especially Prometheus and Grafana.

• Knowledge of networking and firewall technologies.

• Extensive expertise in containerization.

• Strong Linux skills, particularly with Ubuntu/Debian.

• Ability to clearly document complex topics using both visual and written formats.

• Reliable, structured, and results-driven work ethic coupled with strong teamwork abilities.

• Willingness to communicate effectively in both German and English.
