Senior Engineer, Fullstack

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and construct frontend and backend functionalities for customer experiences that facilitate energy-efficient automation.

• Act as the technical lead for essential product experience workflows.

• Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and product management teams.

• Engage across the technology stack, including TypeScript/React, Python, Nx, PostgreSQL, Celery, AWS/GCP, Ubuntu, Apache, Redis, Git, and Jira.

• Implement monitoring tools for UI and API.

• Monitor performance and stability proactively.

• Take part in regular team meetings, standups, one-on-ones, and peer code evaluations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of industry experience developing fullstack software services.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, or proven experience in the software sector.

• Experience in creating features designed for scalability and performance utilizing scalable APIs, REST frameworks, component libraries, and UI design/token systems.

• Strong background in UI development.

• Proficiency in React or other contemporary UI frameworks.

• Solid SQL expertise.

• Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases, including MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Redshift, and MongoDB.

• Proficient in one or more programming languages such as TypeScript, Python, Java, PHP, and Ruby.

• Ability to navigate through ambiguity.

• Exceptional problem-solving capabilities.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Experience with Remix/React Router (bonus).

• Familiarity with scalable distributed data processing (bonus).

• Experience with AWS Lambda/cloud functions, pub/sub, and Prefect tools (bonus).

• Knowledge of cloud automation and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or AWS CDK (bonus).

• Background in the electric power sector (bonus).

• Experience collaborating with external partners (bonus).

• Must be eligible to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored visa sponsorship.
