Senior Engineer – Fleet Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the HDGT OEM representative for GE Vernova in collaboration with Baker Hughes and end users within the oil and gas sector.

• Facilitate coordination among Engineering, Product Line Management, Project Management, Commercial/Sales, Services, and other departments.

• Assist with HDGT installations and manage outages in the Oil and Gas segment.

• Aid in resolving Baker Hughes Help Cases while meeting established quality and delivery standards.

• Ensure accurate MyTime charging and compile quarterly billing summaries.

• Fulfill the priorities of GE Vernova Customer Service Engineering and HDGT Product Service.

• Address Baker Hughes Help Cases directly or collaborate with other teams to ensure high-quality solutions.

• Handle escalations, including providing weekend duty phone support.

• Safeguard GE Vernova's intellectual property and adhere to established protocols.

• Assist in executing Baker Hughes root cause analyses and align findings with GE Vernova's root causes and CAPA.

• Manage customer communications during user conferences and face-to-face meetings.

• Enhance customer relationships through direct technical interactions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university or college.

• At least 8 years of experience in gas turbine engineering or related fields.

• Proven expertise in B/E Class Heavy Duty Gas turbines and the GE Vernova Gas Turbine business.

• Strong customer-oriented communication skills across all levels of the organization.

• Excellent organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.

• Familiarity with GE Vernova tools, including Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Power Now.

• Proficient in Tops 8D or other root cause analysis methodologies.

• Solid foundational knowledge of gas turbine technology.

• Willingness and ability to travel to customer sites as business requirements dictate.
