Senior Engineer – Fleet Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the HDGT OEM representative for GE Vernova in collaboration with Baker Hughes and oil and gas end users on RCAs, repair initiatives, hardware reliability/lifecycle management, TIL/GEK/GER education and clarifications, and associated activities.

• Assist in HDGT installations and outages within the oil and gas sector carried out by either GE Vernova or Baker Hughes.

• Aid in the resolution of Baker Hughes Help Cases to meet established quality and delivery standards.

• Ensure precise MyTime charging to Baker Hughes-sponsored time codes and prepare quarterly summaries for prompt billing.

• Fulfill GE Vernova Customer Service Engineering and HDGT Product Service priorities for the Baker Hughes and oil and gas sales channels.

• Directly address Baker Hughes Help Cases or coordinate with other teams to ensure high-quality solutions.

• Adhere to GE Vernova escalation protocols, including providing weekend duty phone support.

• Guarantee that technical responses safeguard GE Vernova's intellectual property and comply with established guidelines.

• Assist in executing Baker Hughes root cause analysis and align findings with GE Vernova's root causes and CAPA.

• Manage customer communications during user conferences and face-to-face meetings.

• Enhance customer relationships through direct interaction and clear technical communication.

• Collaborate across Engineering, Product Line Management, Project Management, Commercial/Sales, Services, and other departments.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university or college.

• At least 8 years of experience in gas turbine engineering or related technologies.

• Proven expertise in B/E Class Heavy Duty Gas turbines and the GE Vernova Gas Turbine business.

• Strong customer-oriented communication skills at all organizational levels.

• Exceptional organizational abilities to manage multiple complex projects.

• Familiarity with GE Vernova tools such as Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Power Now.

• Proficient in Tops 8D or other root cause analysis methodologies.

• Solid foundational knowledge of gas turbine technology.

• Willingness and capability to travel to customer locations as business needs dictate.
