Senior Engineer – Core

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain core technology systems utilizing Unreal Engine.

• Propose and implement solutions that address the performance and scalability needs of a large open-world game.

• Collaborate with Epic to exchange ideas and enhance technology.

• Create technology aimed at delivering unforgettable player experiences.

• Work across various disciplines to fulfill stakeholder requirements.

• Develop tools and data pipelines for an expansive world with minimal performance impact.

• Maintain proactive communication and foster ongoing relationships with power users.

• Lead the project in creating technology for the new Witcher saga and future titles.

• Engage in the development of streaming solutions, editor tools, physics engine support, and engine-level optimizations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience with Unreal Engine, particularly in areas such as streaming, memory systems, physics, or world-building tools.

• Extensive knowledge of C++ programming.

• Relevant game development experience, including work on a AAA title.

• Experience in developing for both PC and console platforms.

• Familiarity with multithreaded programming.

• Strong skills in system architecture.

• Ability to debug and optimize code efficiently.

• A collaborative mindset with effective communication skills, capable of building trusted relationships across teams.

• Experience in custom game engine development is a plus, but not mandatory.
