Senior Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Collaborate across a varied software portfolio instead of focusing on a single product

• Enhance user interfaces for simulation control tools

• Implement optimization workflows

• Resolve issues within C++ codebases

• Develop MCP servers for LLM integration

• Make current tools accessible for AI agents

• Design tool interfaces that function reliably when managed by an LLM

• Create agent pipelines that integrate with simulation workflows

• Initiate new projects from the ground up

• Potentially oversee a project from start to finish after gaining domain knowledge and exhibiting ownership

• Take into account both scientist usability and AI-agent usability when developing tools

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in C++ Programming Language

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant experience

• Must possess fluency in English

• At least 5–8 years of experience in a similar role

• Experience in the semiconductor industry is preferred

• A strong sense of curiosity, quick learning ability, and a passion for creating tools for technically proficient users

• No prior experience in simulation or optimization is required; domain knowledge can be acquired with support
