Senior Engineer, AI Agentic – Transformation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• The Senior Agentic AI Engineer is an active creator tasked with the design, development, and implementation of AI-driven autonomous workflows and agentic systems.

• Create and develop LLM-driven agentic workflows utilizing Azure AI Foundry and Anthropic Claude APIs.

• Construct multi-step AI agent pipelines through orchestration frameworks that integrate with enterprise systems.

• Execute Model Context Protocol (MCP) integrations to facilitate AI agents.

• Incorporate security-by-design principles in all aspects of AI agent development.

• Develop, test, and refine prompts, system instructions, and reasoning chains for agents.

• Collaborate with the Backend Integration Engineer to link agent workflows to the current enterprise API infrastructure.

• Work alongside the AI Business Analyst to convert business use cases into technical requirements for agents.

• Engage in code reviews and ensure the maintenance of internal documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent practical experience or a robust portfolio of AI projects will also be considered.

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in a foundational IT, software engineering, systems integration, or application development setting is required.

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with AI, automation, orchestration, or integration platforms such as Azure AI Foundry, Anthropic Claude APIs, LangChain, AutoGen, Semantic Kernel, ServiceNow, Okta, ERP-connected workflows, or comparable enterprise automation technologies.

• Candidates should showcase practical experience in building, supporting, or enhancing technical solutions in either production or pilot environments.

• Strong foundational skills in programming, API integration, troubleshooting, and systems thinking are essential.

• Experience with agentic AI projects is highly preferred.
