Senior Energy Advisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Assist homeowners and contractors throughout the entire project lifecycle, from determining eligibility to project completion.

• Offer technical advice regarding residential energy efficiency improvements, building systems, and retrofit specifications.

• Address technical inquiries and resolve issues related to projects or programs.

• Review documentation, perform data entry, and ensure accurate maintenance of program records.

• Aid in QA/QC efforts to guarantee project precision and compliance.

• Interact with customers, contractors, and internal stakeholders effectively.

• Share expertise and provide support for team training as necessary.

• Travel within the designated territory as required.

• Assist in the delivery of residential energy efficiency initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience as an Energy Advisor or in a similar field, such as residential construction, building enhancements, or energy retrofits.

• Proficient experience with CSA F280-12 load calculations is essential.

• Solid understanding of residential buildings, HVAC systems, building science, and energy efficiency improvements.

• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.

• Proficient in using an iPad, laptop, and digital documentation tools.

• Post-secondary education or relevant industry experience is required.

• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are necessary.

• Willingness to travel regularly across Vancouver Island.

• Must meet relevant Canadian commercial driving qualifications, licensing, medical, compliance, hours-of-service, and safety fitness standards, if applicable.

• Authorization to work in Canada without employer sponsorship or support is mandatory.

• Candidates must successfully pass pre-employment screening.
