
Senior Electrical Engineer – Data Center Projects

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design and implement electrical systems for large-scale data centers, covering all phases from initial design to construction assistance.
• Create electrical system designs that encompass MV/LV distribution, UPS systems, standby generators, grounding solutions, lighting, and monitoring systems.
• Conduct load flow, short circuit, and arc flash analyses utilizing SKM, ETAP, or EasyPower software.
• Examine drawings, calculations, and vendor documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with BIM/VDC teams for the modeling and coordination of electrical systems.
• Maintain compliance with NEC, IEEE, NFPA, and specific client standards.
• Assist in QA/QC reviews and internal design validations.
• Offer support during the construction phase by addressing RFIs, evaluating submittals, and aiding field operations.
• Engage in design coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and internal teams.
• Assume responsibility for assigned deliverables, contribute multidisciplinary technical insights, and mentor junior staff as necessary.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Over 10 years of electrical engineering experience in utility, industrial, or mission-critical environments.
• Strong expertise in data centers, BESS, substations, or power generation facilities.
• Practical knowledge in MV/LV power distribution, emergency/backup systems, protective relaying, and redundancy strategies.
• Competence with SKM, ETAP, or similar system analysis tools.
• Familiarity with NEC, IEEE, NFPA, and utility interconnection regulations.
• A valid Professional Engineer (PE) license is mandatory.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities; capable of working efficiently in both collaborative and remote settings.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and Revit is preferred.
• Additional certifications such as LEED AP or PMP are advantageous.
