This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Offer development assistance, conceptual design, and owner’s engineer services to clients.

• Conduct technical evaluations of electric power generation projects and facilities.

• Aid in project economic and cost analysis, risk assessments, and contract formulation.

• Execute engineering design reviews.

• Carry out technical due diligence.

• Assist in project development and conceptual design.

• Travel domestically and internationally as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an ABET Engineering Accreditation Commission-accredited program.

• Strong academic credentials.

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in the electric power sector.

• Proficiency in detailed design of medium voltage electrical systems for utility-scale thermal power projects.

• Familiarity with simple cycle gas turbines, combined cycle projects, coal-fired generation, or reciprocating engines (RICE).

• Experience in providing development support and conceptual design for thermal power projects.

• Exceptional technical communication and writing abilities.

• Authorization to work in the U.S.; Sargent & Lundy does not sponsor work authorization for employees in the U.S.
