This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.
β’ Create electrical system designs for MV/LV distribution, UPS systems, standby generators, grounding, lighting, and monitoring solutions.
β’ Conduct load flow, short circuit, and arc flash analyses utilizing SKM, ETAP, or EasyPower software.
β’ Assess drawings, calculations, and vendor documentation for precision and adherence to standards.
β’ Collaborate with BIM/VDC teams to model and coordinate electrical systems effectively.
β’ Ensure adherence to NEC, IEEE, NFPA, and specific client standards.
β’ Assist in QA/QC reviews and internal design validations.
β’ Provide support during the construction phase by addressing RFIs, reviewing submittals, and assisting with field activities.
β’ Engage in design coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and internal teams.
β’ Take ownership of assigned deliverables, offer technical insights during multidisciplinary coordination, and mentor junior staff.
β’ Develop and present electrical designs for large-scale data centers from the initial design phase through to construction support.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
β’ Over 10 years of experience in electrical engineering, particularly in utility, industrial, or mission-critical facilities (including data centers, BESS, substations, and power plants).
β’ Practical expertise in MV/LV power distribution, emergency and backup power systems, protective relaying, and redundancy strategies.
β’ Proficiency in using SKM, ETAP, or equivalent tools for system analysis.
β’ Familiarity with AutoCAD and Revit is preferred.
β’ Strong understanding of NEC, IEEE, NFPA, and utility interconnection guidelines.
β’ A valid Professional Engineer (PE) license is mandatory.
β’ Must be authorized to work in the United States.
β’ Excellent communication and organizational abilities; capable of working efficiently in both collaborative and remote settings.
β’ Additional certifications such as LEED AP or PMP are advantageous.
