EPLAN Electrical Design Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Design and create electrical schematics based on client specifications.

• Review technical specifications and analyze requirement documents, then apply them to customer projects.

• Generate necessary reports and documentation, including assembly drawings, bills of materials, and terminal and cable lists.

• Update electrical schematics and manage existing customer orders technically.

• Oversee the selection, sizing, and specification of electrical equipment.

• Establish and maintain item master data, master data records, bills of materials, drawings, and layouts.

• Evaluate customer requirements and determine their feasibility.

• Ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations in electrical design and monitor adherence.

• Assist other departments with inquiries related to electrical engineering.

• Participate in hazard analyses and risk assessments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed degree in electrical engineering or vocational training in electrical engineering with further qualification as a state-certified technician (all genders), or an equivalent qualification.

• Preferably, initial professional experience in electrical engineering.

• Strong knowledge of relevant standards.

• Familiarity with machinery directives and regulations.

• Experience with ECAD systems such as EPLAN P8, EPLAN Fluid, SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, or Beckhoff TwinCAT.

• Proficient in standard MS Office applications.

• Experience with SAP or similar PLM systems.

• Knowledge of DIN EN 61355.

• Excellent command of German.

• Good command of English.
