This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Design and/or review deliverables for Power Generation projects, which include Single Line diagrams, three line diagrams, AC & DC elementaries, equipment and switchboard wiring diagrams, bills of materials, vendor mechanism drawings, and logic diagrams.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate electrical work throughout the project development process.
• Ensure that assigned projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and meet client expectations.
• Participate in and/or facilitate design review meetings.
• Build and maintain client relationships while taking a lead role in project meetings.
• Effectively communicate project and technical information.
• Conduct back-checks on your own work to reduce rework.
• Provide administrative and engineering office support as required.
• Travel to client locations to collect field information and engage in design review meetings or other related activities.
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
• 10-15 years of experience; a minimum of 10 years is required.
• Experience with multi-discipline projects in fossil and hydro power generation.
• California Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Familiarity with processes from PG&E, SCE, or other power-generating utilities is preferred.
• Experience in low-voltage and medium-voltage power distribution.
• Experience with low-voltage and medium-voltage motor controls.
• Experience interfacing industrial processes with DCS and/or PLC systems.
• Proficient in using power distribution system modeling software such as ETAP or similar.
• Ability to comprehend and apply engineering design principles.
• Preferred proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills for building relationships and working effectively in a team setting.

• Detail-oriented and capable of executing tasks with all necessary details.
