This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.
• Lead the design, execution, enhancement, and support of sophisticated enterprise data engineering solutions.
• Take ownership of delivery and operational results for designated data domains.
• Design, implement, and sustain data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration workflows.
• Make technical design choices that prioritize scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Identify opportunities to incorporate AI into engineering and operational processes.
• Establish best practices for application lifecycle management, deployment pipelines, source control, and environmental governance across the Power Platform.
• Direct the design, development, optimization, and governance of Power Platform solutions.
• Create enterprise-level Power Apps, Power Automate workflows, Power BI solutions, and Copilot Studio agents that integrate with Azure, Microsoft Fabric, and enterprise systems.
• Convert analytics and reporting requirements into production-ready data solutions.
• Develop and maintain integrated data views across EMR and non-EMR source systems.
• Ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of data pipelines and platform components.
• Anticipate platform modifications and evaluate downstream impacts.
• Lead complex incident resolution efforts and conduct root cause analyses.
• Design and implement data models for querying, analytics, and reporting purposes.
• Organize and enrich data for Business Intelligence developers and analysts.
• Support datasets used for advanced analytics, statistical analysis, and reporting.
• Collaborate with BI developers, Data Integrity teams, and Data Science professionals.
• Serve as a technical thought partner to Associate and Standard engineers.
• Mentor team members and establish reusable development standards.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, software development, or a similar technical role.
• Proficiency in SQL, including complex query optimization and data preparation.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms or enterprise-level data environments.
• Strong background in designing scalable, reliable, and maintainable data solutions.
• Familiarity with version control systems, including Git.
• Scripting experience, preferably in Python.
• Experience in designing and implementing Power Platform solutions, including Power Automate, Power Apps, and Copilot Studio.
• Experience in designing and optimizing data pipelines and governed architectures for advanced AI/ML workloads.
• Required Epic Cogito Fundamentals (COG170) certification; course completion is required within 12 months of hire or promotion.
• Required Microsoft Power Platform Fundamentals (PL-900) certification; course completion is required within 12 months of hire or promotion.
• Required Caboodle Data Model (CDW110v) certification; course completion is required within 12 months of hire or promotion.
• Required Caboodle Development Fundamentals (CDW300v) or Data Engineering on Microsoft Azure (DP-203) certification; course completion is required within 12 months of hire or promotion.
