Senior eDiscovery Analyst

📋 Description

• Advise case teams and client stakeholders on optimal practices for the preservation, collection, processing, analysis, review, and production of ESI.

• Employ Relativity Analytics and Active Learning/continuous active learning techniques to minimize potentially relevant data sets.

• Create and execute defensible plans for ESI preservation, collection, processing, review, and production in collaboration with case teams, clients, and vendors.

• Generate and maintain documentation pertaining to ESI analysis and document review plans, incorporating reviewer statistics, responsiveness metrics, and error logs.

• Oversee and support the firm’s eDiscovery applications.

• Conceptualize and develop databases that contain discovery data and other ESI.

• Process, troubleshoot, manipulate, and load ESI as needed.

• Update, organize, and sustain project logs, reports, and materials related to project management.

• Investigate electronic discovery issues and propose technical solutions.

• Keep abreast of relevant software and technology solutions to ensure effective client support.

• Enhance technical and professional expertise through training, vendor meetings, seminars, documentation, self-study, networking, and reading professional journals.

• Design, implement, and validate AI-assisted review workflows utilizing the Relativity aiR suite.

• Draft and refine natural-language prompts and issue descriptions, sample and quality-check model outputs, and document defensible validation protocols.

• Act as a subject-matter expert on generative AI and analytics tools, mentor analysts, and provide guidance to case teams regarding appropriate usage, limitations, and defensibility.

• Process and review data sourced from Microsoft 365/Purview, Google Workspace, Slack, and Microsoft Teams.


⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in litigation, investigations, and regulatory matters.

• Strong working knowledge of document review technologies, including RelativityOne, Active Learning/technology-assisted review, and generative AI review tools.

• Relativity Certified Administrator certification is mandatory for the Senior level.

• Certifications such as Relativity Analytics Specialist and Relativity Processing Specialist are preferred.

• Preferred credentials in Relativity aiR and other AI-related qualifications as they become available.

• Experience on the eDiscovery vendor side, such as processing, hosting, or vendor project management, is preferred.

• Comprehensive understanding of the ESI life cycle and related industry standards.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Proven ability to build effective teams.

• Professional demeanor, meticulous attention to detail, and commitment to high-quality work standards.

• Capacity to prioritize tasks and perform efficiently under pressure.

• Ability to manage multiple daily tasks in a dynamic work environment.

• Familiarity with SQL databases, Python and/or PowerShell, Excel, regular expressions, and other data-manipulation tools is preferred.

• Hands-on experience with the Relativity aiR suite, specifically aiR for Review and aiR for Privilege, including prompt drafting/iteration and validation of results within RelativityOne.

• Basic working knowledge of LLMs and generative AI in the context of document review, including prompt engineering, model limitations and hallucination risks, human-in-the-loop quality control, data-security considerations, and defensibility of AI-assisted workflows.

• Knowledge of modern ESI data sources and types, such as cloud email and files, chat and collaboration data, and mobile/short-message data.

• Awareness of data-privacy considerations, including PII/PHI identification and redaction.

• Advanced customer service skills catering to both internal and external clients.

• Strong project and time management skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.

• Flexibility to adapt to evolving responsibilities and circumstances while adhering to firm policies and procedures.

• Availability to work Eastern Time Zone hours.

• Ability to achieve a billable goal of 1,400 hours annually.
