Senior eCommerce UI/UX Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Implement high-conversion experiences, comprehensive customer journey redesigns, and effective growth creative.

• Collaborate closely with the VP of Design to deliver outstanding work.

• Uphold the WON design standard, characterized by cleanliness, premium quality, behavior-driven approaches, attention to detail, and rapid deployment.

• Embrace WON's AI-native design systems, including Claude Design and Figma MCP.

• Develop automated assets utilizing Figma component libraries.

• Participate in the growth of WON’s design agents and workflows.

• Create high-conversion ecommerce websites and landing pages.

• Design acquisition landing flows, onboarding processes, collection architecture, PDP storytelling, cart and checkout experiences, retention, and member UX.

• Create growth-focused creative assets, including paid social landing pages, advertorials, quiz flows, product education materials, bundles, upsells, and offer frameworks.

• Construct and oversee component libraries and design systems across various brands and campaigns.

• Continuously assess workflows and pinpoint opportunities for establishing repeatable systems or agents.

• Showcase work using session replays, cohort behavior insights, and voice-of-customer feedback.

• Enhance conversion rates, AOV, and funnel progression through informed design choices.

• Deliver high-quality designs promptly while minimizing manual production tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in digital design, whether at an agency or in-house.

• Strong background in ecommerce and DTC.

• A portfolio showcasing modern, premium work that is not template-based.

• Expertise in Figma.

• Strong instincts in typography.

• Ability to explain the rationale behind design decisions.

• Comfortable being evaluated based on impact rather than just output.

• Familiarity with AI design tools like Claude Design or Figma MCP, or a genuine interest in integrating them into your workflow.

• Experience with high-end brands is a plus.

• Familiarity with Shopify ecosystems is a plus.

• Experience in building component libraries and design systems from the ground up is a plus.

• Contribution to CRO programs that yielded measurable performance improvements is a plus.

• A portfolio/work samples are required.

• An English resume is required.
