This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +22 more states.
• Oversee daily operations of Shopify across Hay House storefronts, which includes managing product and catalog data, collections, metafields, navigation, pricing, promotions, merchandising, apps, integrations, and ensuring data accuracy.
• Supervise the health of storefronts, conduct quality assurance and troubleshooting, maintain product feeds and social commerce connections, and escalate technical issues as necessary.
• Drive storefront merchandising and enhance conversion rates by utilizing customer insights and performance data.
• Collaborate with the Marketing team on Shopify campaigns and promotions.
• Work alongside the Development team to outline requirements, coordinate projects, perform quality assurance, and assist with production launches.
• Manage e-commerce reporting through Shopify, GA4, and other relevant tools, converting performance data into actionable insights and recommendations.
• Keep an eye on emerging channels such as social commerce, AI-driven traffic, and agentic commerce.
• Employ authorized AI and automation tools, including ChatGPT Enterprise, to enhance workflows, merchandising, efficiency, discoverability, and customer experience while ensuring human oversight.
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process documentation.
• Stay informed on Shopify capabilities and e-commerce trends, proposing enhancements that support efficiency, customer experience, and sales growth.
• Report directly to the Director of E-Commerce.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, E-Commerce, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3-5 years of hands-on Shopify administration experience in an enterprise-level or similarly complex e-commerce setting.
• Proven experience collaborating with technical teams and leveraging analytics to enhance e-commerce performance.
• Experience in managing multiple Shopify storefronts, overseeing e-commerce migrations, or working with a growing multi-site platform.
• Strong e-commerce acumen in connecting catalog data, platform configuration, feeds, integrations, merchandising, and storefront experiences.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
• Technical fluency with the ability to write clear requirements and documentation, as well as knowing when to escalate issues.
• Responsible approach to using AI and automation, ensuring accuracy, validation, data privacy, and adherence to company policies.
• Capability to juggle multiple priorities in a dynamic e-commerce landscape.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across various functions.
• Must reside in or be willing to relocate to one of the eligible U.S. states.
