This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Deliver word processing and document production services for clients.
• Execute document production following established policies and procedures.
• Evaluate job requests, determine the appropriate production process, and ensure successful completion throughout the task lifecycle.
• Edit, proofread, convert, create, transcribe, or fulfill document production requests in other ways.
• Utilize the necessary equipment, technology, software, and hardware for job functions.
• Aid in the coordination, preparation, intake, and workflow of document production services.
• Resolve complex software or hardware issues.
• Maintain logs and tracking software for assigned tasks.
• Adhere to deadlines for accepting, completing, and delivering work.
• Communicate with colleagues, supervisors, or clients regarding jobs and deadlines.
• Promote continuous service improvement and foster client relationship development.
• Manage sensitive and confidential documents and information.
• Conduct quality assurance on the work of others.
• Mentor junior staff members.
• Support peer teams with proofreading, design, and document production as needed.
• Engage with clients in person, by phone, or electronically.
• Comply with Williams Lea and client site policies.
• Use equipment and supplies efficiently to control costs.
• Undertake additional assignments from management.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Higher education is preferred or equivalent work experience is acceptable.
• At least 3 years of experience is required, preferably in a legal, banking, or large corporate environment.
• Experience in document production and word processing is preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is essential.
• Strong keyboarding and typing abilities are required.
• Skilled in software programs for editing and/or creating documents.
• Familiarity with a legal timekeeping or job tracking system is preferred.
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, both independently and collaboratively.
• Ability to prioritize work, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with a focus on accuracy and quality.
• Proficiency in handling sensitive and/or confidential documents and information.
• Ability to make independent decisions in line with business needs and policies.
• Skill in troubleshooting complex or advanced tasks, equipment, or software issues and escalating when necessary.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including professional telephone and email etiquette.
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
• Demonstrated customer service skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and functions.
