Senior District Manager, Multiple Myeloma

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Lead a team of Clinical Account Executives throughout the NYC Metro area.

• Develop and implement strategies that reinforce AbbVie’s position as a leader in Multiple Myeloma.

• Foster outstanding customer engagement and effectively manage key accounts.

• Ensure compliant promotional activities are executed.

• Mentor, provide constructive feedback, and support the development of team members.

• Convert strategic plans into explicit priorities and disciplined execution.

• Act as a subject matter expert in product knowledge, disease state, and the evolving landscape of hematology/oncology.

• Implement brand strategies locally to have a positive impact on the business.

• Promote a culture centered on performance, inclusivity, trust, accountability, and individual growth.

• Oversee budget and resource management to enhance patient outcomes.

• Direct Key Account Management by uniting field teams around common account priorities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree.

• Over 7 years of experience in the pharma/biotech industry.

• Oncology experience is essential, preferably in Multiple Myeloma or hematologic malignancies.

• Proven track record of consistently achieving outstanding results.

• Capability to inspire and motivate teams effectively.

• Strong understanding of strategy, key account management, customer insights, and cross-functional collaboration.

• Ability to lead cross-functional teams without formal authority.

• Skills in coaching Clinical Account Executives through clear expectations, constructive feedback, and accountability.

• Proficiency in data application, critical thinking, business acumen, and sound judgment.

• Adaptability to rapidly changing environments and leading through uncertainty.

• Possession of a personal vehicle or a company car or truck.

• Valid driver’s license.

• Capability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving criteria.
