Behavioral Health Care Manager – CA or HI License

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Assist in promoting the mental well-being of cancer patients within an assigned caseload.

• Deliver brief behavioral interventions specifically designed for the cancer care environment.

• Conduct screenings and evaluations for prevalent mental health and substance use disorders.

• Encourage patient involvement and ensure follow-up care is provided.

• Educate patients about prevalent mental health issues and substance abuse disorders, along with the treatment options available.

• Monitor treatment outcomes and observe for any changes in clinical symptoms, side effects, or complications related to treatment.

• Aid in the management of psychotropic medications by tracking adherence, side effects, and overall effectiveness.

• Cultivate strong working relationships with partner oncology practice teams.

• Assist partner oncology groups in identifying and onboarding patients who require behavioral health support.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of relevant experience in behavioral health, healthcare, or oncology (preferred).

• Must possess one of the following clinical licenses in CA or HI: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• Committed to providing evidence-based care with proven abilities to collaborate and communicate effectively within a team environment.

• Prior experience in engaging with physicians and working alongside a multidisciplinary team.

• Capable of functioning with a high degree of independence.

• Enthusiastic about delivering high-quality behavioral health care.
