Senior Manager, Retail Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee relationships with retail partners, particularly with Walmart.

• Collaborate with licensees to enhance the sales of licensed merchandise.

• Concentrate on categories such as Toys, Sporting Goods, Home, Accessories, Food & Beverage, and Essentials & Beauty.

• Implement retail strategies within the scope of category responsibilities.

• Evaluate retail performance and pinpoint opportunities for sales and distribution growth.

• Work alongside licensing category teams to assist with product launches and retail activations involving licensees.

• Ensure brand consistency and adherence to standards across licensed products and retail displays.

• Perform store visits and retail audits to evaluate merchandising standards and uncover potential opportunities.

• Assess sales data, market trends, and competitive activities.

• Partner with marketing, category, and franchise teams to bolster campaigns.

⛳️ Requirements

• Residency in the Bentonville, AR area is required.

• A Bachelor’s degree is necessary.

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in retail, licensing, consumer products, or business development.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

• Capable of working independently with excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-up abilities.

• In-depth understanding of retail environments and merchandising strategies is crucial.

• Exceptional relationship management and communication capabilities are required.

• An analytical mindset with experience leveraging sales data to inform decisions.

• Previous experience with licensed brands or retail partnerships is preferred.

• Familiarity with the entertainment, categories, and/or retail industry is a plus.
