Senior District Manager, Multiple Myeloma

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Lead a team of Clinical Account Executives throughout the NYC Metro area

• Develop and implement strategies to strengthen AbbVie's position in Multiple Myeloma

• Foster exceptional customer engagement, manage key accounts, and ensure compliant promotional activities

• Enhance team development through coaching, feedback, and career advancement opportunities

• Transform strategy into local execution by establishing clear priorities, providing coaching, and ensuring follow-through

• Act as a subject matter expert in product knowledge, disease states, and the changing landscape of hematology/oncology

• Implement brand strategy locally to create a positive business impact

• Promote a culture of performance, inclusivity, personal growth, trust, and accountability

• Oversee budget and resources to maximize patient impact

• Lead Key Account Management by aligning field teams around common account priorities

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree

• Over 7 years of experience in the pharma/biotech sector

• Required experience in oncology, preferably in Multiple Myeloma or hematologic malignancies

• Proven track record of consistently achieving top results

• Demonstrated capability to inspire and motivate teams

• Comprehensive understanding of strategy, key account management, customer insights, and cross-functional collaboration

• Ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct authority

• Skill in developing Clinical Account Executives through coaching, accountability, feedback, and career development

• Proficiency in applying data, critical thinking, business insight, and sound judgment

• Capacity to adapt swiftly, embrace ambiguity, and lead through uncertainty in dynamic business environments

• Must be able to drive a personal or company vehicle

• Valid driver's license required

• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening

• Must meet safe driving criteria
