Revenue Cycle Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the Revenue Cycle Services team responsible for claims, payments, credit balance management, insurance reimbursements, denial handling, coding, systems management, third-party oversight, and self-pay services.

• Supervise daily operations by assigning tasks, tracking progress, and assessing work for timeliness, quality, and compliance.

• Handle budgeting, forecasting, client financial oversight, and human resources activities.

• Execute and record personnel actions such as hiring, training, coaching, disciplinary measures, corrective actions, salary adjustments, performance reviews, and promotions.

• Enhance team member skills through mentoring and guidance.

• Evaluate services, pinpoint issues, analyze data, and suggest resolutions.

• Create new processes and refine existing ones.

• Uphold guidelines and procedures to achieve objectives and adhere to regulatory standards.

• Address escalated matters utilizing subject matter expertise.

• Track customer satisfaction levels and recommend improvements in service.

• Assist in building a successful customer base.

• Convert business strategies into marketable and billable services.

• Collaborate with sales to onboard new clients and promote services to existing clients.

• Keep informed about industry trends, regulations, best practices, and Revenue Cycle methodologies.

• Undertake other related responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management, Accounting, Mathematics, Business, or a related field; or a comparable combination of education and experience.

• Significant experience in revenue cycle management, including prior experience in personnel and budget management.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience with EHR applications.

• Extensive knowledge of the healthcare revenue cycle, encompassing various billing, coding, and reimbursement models.

• Comprehensive understanding of laws and regulations impacting the healthcare revenue cycle.

• Strong grasp of EHR revenue cycle modules.

• Thorough understanding of departmental operations.

• Recognized as an expert in medical billing, claims processing, denials, etc.

• W2 project-based consultants are required to provide a computing device that meets industry standards and security best practices.

• Reliable access to the internet with adequate speed.

• Background in business development, client services, or business operations is preferred.
