This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.
• Assist in enhancing Inspire access and reducing reimbursement obstacles for both patients and providers.
• Cultivate relationships with healthcare providers, their offices, Ambulatory Surgery Centers, hospital outpatient facilities, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal prior authorization support services and field sales teams to address customer requirements.
• Convey coverage challenges among payer channels and offer guidance to navigate potential issues.
• Engage new accounts for training in billing and coding, audit education, and program review assistance.
• Act as a subject matter expert on coding, coverage, and payment matters for both Medicare and commercial payers.
• Deliver Inspire reimbursement education, support, and resources to customers.
• Navigate and resolve account and patient access challenges with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Address requests for customer site visits, program business reviews, and reimbursement assistance.
• Establish customer relationships through reimbursement engagement and collaboration across functions.
• Implement access and reimbursement strategic priorities while identifying key accounts.
• Create reimbursement presentations for site visits, training sessions, client presentations, and meetings.
• Monitor market dynamics, industry trends, CMS updates, and impacts from commercial payers.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• A Bachelor’s degree in business, science, or healthcare administration is required.
• Over 7 years of experience in reimbursement/market access and/or proven success in handling complex insurance payer claims, denials, and appeals (Medicare and commercial).
• In-depth knowledge of coding, coverage, and payment for implantable medical devices across the healthcare landscape, including HCPs, ASCs, and hospitals.
• Experience in direct engagement with HCPs across multiple service sites and in educational group settings.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both in-person and virtually, to interact effectively with customers, cross-functional partners, and internal reimbursement and prior authorization teams.
• Strong independent and team-oriented problem-solving abilities, along with diligent self-motivated follow-up.
• Direct experience in collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders and managing projects.
• Willingness to travel regularly, up to 25% of the time.
